Poker Variants
bg122 offers multiple poker formats — suitable for everyone from beginners to professionals.
Texas Hold'em
The most popular poker format in the world. Each player receives two hole cards and uses five community cards to build the best hand. Bluffing and position are the key strategies here.
Omaha Poker
More action than Hold'em — you get four hole cards and five community cards, but must use exactly two hole cards to make your hand. The preferred choice of experienced players.
Live Poker
Play poker with a real dealer via live streaming. Experience the atmosphere of a land casino from home. Chat with the dealer and other players through live chat.
Short Deck Hold'em
Played with just 36 cards (2 through 5 removed). Strong hands come more often with a smaller deck, making every game fast and packed with excitement. For those looking for a new twist.
Cash Games
Play without a fixed buy-in — join or leave at any time. In cash games, every chip has real money value, so strategic moves are extremely important.
Poker Tournaments
Enter with a fixed buy-in, build your chip stack and climb to the top. In tournament format, a small investment can lead to large prize opportunities — the biggest draw for poker players.
Learn the Core Strategy of Poker
Luck alone is not enough to win at poker — the right study and practice are essential. Master these key concepts before you start playing at bg122:
Understanding Hand Rankings
From Royal Flush to High Card — know the strength of every hand. Correctly evaluating your hand is the first step to successful poker.
Using Position
Positions closer to the dealer button give you more information. Playing from late position is more profitable — use this advantage consciously.
Pot Odds & EV Calculation
Calculate the Expected Value (EV) for every call decision. Understanding pot odds makes it much easier to avoid bad calls.
Bluffing & Range Analysis
Build a mental range of your opponent's likely hands and bluff at the right moment. Bluffing too often burns through chips quickly.
Bankroll Management
Do not invest more than 5% of your bankroll in a single session. Disciplined money management is essential for long-term success.
Start Poker with a Bonus
Open a new account at bg122 and get a 120% bonus on your first deposit, up to ৳5,000. This bonus can also be used at the poker tables.
For example: deposit ৳1,000 and receive a ৳1,200 bonus — your total balance will be ৳2,200. The wagering requirement on the bonus is 25x (on the bonus amount only). That means you need to wager ৳30,000 for the ৳1,200 bonus — after that, winnings can be withdrawn.
